”ARABIA”, 2004

The Work consists of five paintings on the Glass Wall dividing Aralis Library Hall with the lunch restaurant on the other side of the wall.

Into the silhouettes I have been painting different subjects and together these ”two” images create us different perceptions of places, actions and feelings. There might also be seen the identity of the place as a center of arts and crafts & design but also the nature as a strong element around us.

 

I have planned the work to be seen on the both sides. That cretated some more difficulty to the working process. You couldnt paint too much or then it  would be too opaque and the perception would become too different on the otherside. Also finding the binder was an own story…
